So I've been thinking...

I've been on deviantART for the greater part of the last 12 years, and while it's been fun and also awful at times, I feel like my time here is coming to a close. Since I haven't produced any art in months and have no true desire to participate in the Invader Zim fandom any longer, I feel like I should move on. 

I'll be leaving this account open so people can still enjoy my art, and who knows, I may come back some day, but for now, since I have little time to spend on my computer (I only ever seem to be on it on Tuesdays when I have DnD), I have no desire to draw or write, don't want to play in the fandom anymore, etc. ad nauseam, I will not be participating here or on any of my other accounts.

On hiatus til further notice.

Soooo this past week I accepted a new position at a new store. I'm getting the hell off of the sinking ship that was my store and going to greener pastures - that also happen to be 40 minutes closer to my apartment.

I will miss my family, but good riddance to the rest of them.

As this is the case, I've been swamped the last few weeks with decisions and interviews and such.

I currently have several pieces of art I need to do for Easter Platypus and April Fool's -- all of which are late -3-; 

I will be attempting to get these pieces - and commissions owed to RiskellionGamble done this week. 

OR... At least I almost got my FACE BURNT OFF...

For future reference of all computer users: if your battery is so swollen that you cannot close the lid of your computer because your trackpad busted the fuck open... it's probably something you should REALLY BE CONCERNED ABOUT.

Lady was completely oblivious that her laptop could have exploded and/or caught on fire on just the ride over to my store.

By the time it got to us, the trackpad had popped out of place, you couldn't shut the lid, and the freaking aluminum casing was bulging and had bent. It was a harrowing experience getting the battery out of the unit, and quite frankly, I should've just chucked the entire laptop in the hot bucket. We (me and one of my counter agents) diligently took it apart and nearly shit ourselves when the plastic housing on the battery split open and the entire battery started hissing because it was venting toxic gases.

So, if we had waited any longer than we did, the thing might have actually ignited or exploded and I would've gotten burns all over my pretty face.

*sighs*

I am not paid enough for this bullshit.
